Course Overview

Join us for an immersive two-day workshop on Vestibular Rehabilitation, December 6–7, 2025, led by expert Dr. Naseem Chatiwala, PT, DPT, MS, NCS.

This workshop is designed to deepen clinicians’ understanding of the vestibular system and build practical skills and confidence in evaluating and treating vestibular disorders—skills that can be applied immediately in clinical practice. Participants will gain a strong, hands-on foundation in vestibular anatomy, assessment techniques, and evidence-based treatment strategies that benefit not only patients with vestibular diagnoses but also a wide range of other conditions.

Upon completion of the course, participants will receive 14 CEU credits (approved by APTA of MA for PTs; other professionals may submit for CEU approval).

Learning Objectives

  • Describe the key anatomical structures of the vestibular system, including both central and peripheral components, and explain their role in maintaining balance and spatial orientation.

  • Distinguish and differential diagnose between peripheral, central and other vestibular disorders based on clinical characteristics, allowing for accurate diagnosis and targeted intervention

  • Perform comprehensive oculomotor and vestibular assessment.

  • Formulate individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions for vestibular dysfunction, including habituation, gaze stabilization, adaptation, and substitution exercises.

  • Identify variants of BPPV, understand the underlying pathophysiology, and perform effective Canalith Repositioning Maneuvers (CRM) to manage this common vestibular condition successfully.

  • Apply updated clinical practice guidelines for vestibular rehabilitation in both assessment and treatment approaches
