What to Expect

• If you are coming in for BPPV treatment:

  • It’s recommended to have a companion with you if you have pre-existing anxiety or motion sickness, as certain maneuvers may temporarily increase dizziness.

  • Wear comfortable clothing, as repositioning maneuvers may require you to lie down and turn your head in different directions.

  • Avoid heavy meals before your appointment.
